      <image:caption>Partner neal@sullcoh.com In his 36 years trying complex commercial cases, Neal has represented clients in a variety of areas of law, including employment, securities, intellectual property, renewable energy, trust and estates, and natural resources. His practice focuses on high-stakes litigation in state and federal district and appeals courts, as well as arbitration, throughout the United States. Neal counsels clients to avoid litigation through both informal and formal dispute resolution practice.  He has a wealth of experience in this regard; for example obtaining a favorable settlement of over $100 million for minority shareholders asserting claims of shareholder oppression in a multibillion-dollar privately held corporation, being part of the pro bono team that assisted the ACLU in obtaining a $41 million settlement with the State of Colorado to treat Colorado prisoners with chronic hepatitis C, winning an arbitration award worth over $25 million for a minority member of a limited liability corporation in a dispute over the duties of an oil and gas operator and its obligations to the minority members, and the successful arbitration for a client  asserting claims of misappropriation of trade secrets involving extraction and purification processes for the commercial production of a cancer-fighting agent worth over $25 million. Neal served as office managing partner when Fox Rothschild expanded into Denver in 2012. Prior to that, he was a partner at Bryan Cave and Faegre &amp; Benson. Neal served on the board of directors for the Colorado IP American Inn of Court.  When he was much younger, he was a member of the U.S. National Fencing Team, having competed in the World Championships in Budapest, Hungary in 1975 and winning two Gold medals and one Bronze medal in the U.S. National Championships.       <image:caption>Partner jennifer@sullcoh.com Jennifer Sullivan applies her years of experience in civil litigation to help parties resolve their disputes, both in and out of court. She is an attentive listener, effective communicator, and understands the importance of preparation. She enjoys working with clients to evaluate their objectives and determine the best path forward, whether that is negotiation, court intervention, or alternative forms of dispute resolution. When serving as a mediator, Jennifer works with lawyers and their clients to structure a quality mediation process that will provide the parties the best possible chance for a mutually agreeable resolution to their dispute. She offers a sliding scale to ensure that everyone can afford a chance at representation and mediation. Jennifer has broad experience, having spent years as an associate, counsel, and partner in the Business Litigation group of Faegre &amp; Benson, LLP, now Faegre Drinker Biddle &amp; Reath LLP. Prior to her firm experience, she clerked for the Honorable W. Royal Furgeson, Jr. of the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas. Judge Furgeson’s example taught her the importance of treating every party to a dispute with dignity. Jennifer has twice been named a Colorado Rising Star by SuperLawyers Magazine, and recognized as the Young Lawyer of the Year by the Boulder County Bar Association. Jennifer has completed over 150 hours of mediation training through the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School, the Center for Understanding in Conflict, and Mares-Dixon &amp; Associates. She volunteers as a mediator with Colorado’s 17th and 20th Judicial Districts. Jennifer has presented on various mediation topics at conferences and via webinars, and has taught mediation to lawyers and judges in Brazil through the University of Colorado Law School. Jennifer further honed her relationship-building and communication skills while functioning as chief of staff to the Dean of Colorado Law. Jennifer grew up in Shaker Heights Ohio, graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Geological Sciences from Case Western Reserve University, and received her J.D. from Duke University School of Law. A two-time high school All-American, she captained her college swim team and continues to swim with a masters team. She serves as president of the board of directors of Focus Reentry, a non-profit that provides support to formerly incarcerated individuals reentering society. She is the board treasurer for the Center for Understanding in Conflict, an organization that trains conflict resolution professionals. She also serves on the advisory board to the National Institute of Trial Advocacy, and the board of Legal Entrepreneurs for Justice, an incubator for lawyers developing socially-conscious law firms. Jennifer lives with her husband Miles and their four children in Boulder, Colorado.
